Morrow helps your assistant build, compare, and update the course sections you select.

Use your own assistant across the Canvas or Moodle sections your account can open. Compare sections, find the reason behind a difference, plan the smallest correction, and check what each course site saved.

Analyze course operations.

  • Nine sections compared in one request.
  • Counts and course patterns you can check before acting.
  • The instructions and rubric behind the pattern.

LMS AdministratorAssignment 2 went badly across the nine Economics 201 sections and faculty are asking me why. I need something better than a hunch.

Your Assistant Using MorrowEleven percent did not submit and eighteen percent scored under the pass mark, but it is not evenly spread: three sections account for most of it. In those three, most first discussion posts arrive in the last six hours before close, and two threads still had unanswered posts when they shut. Review the student information under your institution’s rules before you act.

LMS AdministratorShow me what those three sections actually tell students.

Your Assistant Using MorrowThey use the same opportunity-cost criterion as the rest, but the worked example sits below the deadline reminder instead of above it. The other six put it first. That is the only wording difference between them.

LMS AdministratorThat is enough to take to faculty. Write it up, and run the same check after Assignment 3.

Your Assistant Using MorrowThe brief pairs each section’s instructions and rubric line with its posting pattern, and proposes moving the example above the reminder and opening the discussion on Thursday. After Assignment 3 I will run the same comparison and show you what moved.

Turn a comparison into a decision.

Choose what to compare, then read the assignments, discussions, rubrics, and dates behind the answer before you ask faculty to change a course.

  1. 1

Name the sections, and say which assignments, dates, and scores to compare across them.

  2. 2

Read the instructions, the rubric, and the discussion prompt behind every difference the comparison found.

  3. 3

Write the faculty brief, or plan the smallest correction for each course and verify what each course site saved.

Compare course setup across sections.

Start with every section you name, then narrow the work to the settings and pages that need attention.

Prepare the Course Comparison

  • Find Settings That Do Not Match

Compare module presence and order, page publication, dates, when work opens and closes, and assignment settings across a term’s sections.

What You Get: A list of differences, with each course’s current setting, the expected one, and what needs review.
  • Plan a Term-Wide Update Carefully

Prepare one clear set of changes for the courses you name, and leave out the sections on a different calendar or a different design.

What You Get: A plan you can read before anything is saved, then the saved result for each course.

Answer a Teaching Question

  • Compare Workload Across a Term

Find where deadlines cluster, how many assessments occur in one week, and which sections give students the least time between assessments.

What You Get: A report that names the page, assignment, or discussion behind every count, so faculty can check it.
  • Ask the Same Question Next Week

Keep the same sections and the same wording, then ask again after the next assignment closes.

What You Get: A fresh comparison that shows what changed since the last review.

What you name, and what comes back.

A comparison is only as exact as the list you name. Your assistant works through Morrow with the courses you name one by one. It never treats a partial list as every course in a term.

What You Name Before the Comparison

  • The Exact List of Sections

The term’s courses and sections, one by one. Your assistant can prepare a group of changes through Morrow only for courses you named yourself.

  • What to Compare

Module presence and order, published pages, open and close dates, due dates, and the assignment settings covered by your term standard.

  • The Sections to Leave Alone

The sections that keep a different calendar or a different design, so a term-wide correction does not touch them.

What the Comparison Returns for Each Course

  • One Difference List per Course

Each course’s current setting beside the expected one, with the page, module, or assignment behind it.

What You Get: A course you did not name never appears in the plan.
  • The Smallest Correction, per Course

The proposed change for each course, and the order students will see after it.

What You Get: Nothing is saved until you approve the plan.
  • See the Result for Every Course

Each course shows its updated setting and names any item that needs attention.

What You Get: A clear next step for every course in the group.

Fix term setup.

Compare deadlines and module order across sections.

  • A section on its own calendar is set aside, not corrected.
  • Each course stays visible after the change.
  • Undo is a new change you review, not a rewind.

LMS AdministratorWeek 4 opens Monday across nine Economics 201 sections and a Blackboard pilot. Tell me what is wrong before students find it.

Your Assistant Using MorrowSix sections are correct. Section 02 has no market brief. Section 06 closes Assignment 4 twelve hours before its discussion opens. Section 09 runs the shorter approved calendar, so I left it out. The Blackboard pilot has the right order but closes Monday morning.

LMS AdministratorFix 02, 06 and the pilot. Leave 09 alone.

Your Assistant Using MorrowHere is each one: the market brief added to 02 in the right position, Assignment 4 in 06 moved to close Tuesday at 23:59, and the pilot moved to match. Three changes, nothing else touched.

LMS AdministratorGo ahead.

Your Assistant Using MorrowAll three saved and re-checked. Section 02 now has the brief before Assignment 4, and 06 and the pilot both close Tuesday at 23:59. Section 09 kept its shorter calendar.

Questions LMS Administrators Ask.

What your assistant can compare through Morrow, what stays unchanged, and what Blackboard needs before anyone can use it.

What can my assistant read through Morrow?

The course areas that your own signed-in account can open, including assignments, sections, rubrics, discussions, modules, pages, and dates. Your assistant answers from the course information it read through Morrow and can change only the courses and items you name.

Can I ask the same question every week?

Yes. Keep the same sections and the same wording, and ask again. Your assistant uses Morrow to read those courses again each time, so this week’s answer comes from this week’s courses and not from a stored copy.

Can my assistant use Morrow for platform-wide administration?

No. Your assistant can use Morrow with the courses your connected account can open and with the pages, assignments, discussions, quizzes, and dates inside them. Morrow does not manage accounts, terms, or site-wide settings.

What happens when one course in a group fails?

The group shows a result for each course. If the platform refuses a change or a check through Morrow cannot confirm the result, that course stays visible with the reason and a next step for you to review.

Can my assistant use Morrow to change a Canvas section?

It can rename a section, change its dates, or remove it after checking that the section belongs to the course you selected. It will not touch a section with student submissions, grades, enrollments, or assignment due-date exceptions, and it will not cross-list a section between courses.

What does Blackboard need from me?

Blackboard needs an administrator first. They connect Morrow to your school and choose the account it uses. You then add that connection on your computer and work within the access your institution allows. Morrow reaches Blackboard through Anthology’s official REST API and is tested against it, but no live Blackboard site has run it yet, so your school would be the first.

Your First Request.

Name the sections you want compared, and replace the words in brackets with your own. This request only reads. Nothing in your course changes.

Use Morrow to read the [term] sections of [course name], and say which are in Canvas and which are in Moodle. Compare module presence and order, which pages are published, when work opens and closes, and due dates. Show each difference beside its section, and list any section on a different calendar on its own. Just tell me what you find, and leave the courses alone.
