Morrow helps your assistant plan, teach, and improve every course section you select.

Use the assistant and course access you already have. Morrow can help you find students who may need a check-in, draft a message to each one, compare sections, or plan course content from your materials. It can use only what your usual sign-in can open.

Weekly Student Support.

  • Four sections read again every Monday.
  • Review student information under your institution’s rules.
  • Every message stays a draft until you send it.

InstructorEvery Monday I lose an hour working out who is slipping in my four Biology 101 sections. Can you just tell me?

Your Assistant Using MorrowAcross the four sections, 17 missed the Week 3 lab reflection, 9 have not posted since 1 September, and 4 are in both groups. I would treat those 4 differently. Two missed items in a row is rarely a reminder problem.

InstructorAgreed. Write to the other groups in my voice, and leave those four for me to phone.

Your Assistant Using MorrowEighteen notes, each naming the reflection or discussion and one thing to do before Friday. No marks mentioned. The four are set aside with a line on what each one missed.

InstructorDo this every Monday and tell me who has changed.

Your Assistant Using MorrowEvery Monday I will read the sections fresh and show you who caught up, who is new, and who still needs a call, so the numbers reflect what Morrow reads from Canvas that morning. Leave the computer awake and signed in and it runs without you.

Set up Monday’s check once.

Say which sections to read and which conditions need follow-up, such as a missing submission or seven days without a discussion post. Your assistant reads the sections through Morrow and writes the drafts.

  1. 1

Choose the sections, the assignments, and the dates to check this week.

  2. 2

Keep missing work, low scores, and a week with no posts in separate groups, so each note gives one student one useful next step.

  3. 3

Read every draft before you send it. Next Monday, compare the new list with this one to see whose status changed.

Compare sections or plan course content.

Ask about the sections you teach, or hand over your materials and get a course plan back. Ask your assistant to name the pages, assignments, discussions, and dates behind each answer.

Plan Course Content

  • Plan Course Content From Your Materials

Turn a syllabus, readings, slides, outcomes, a calendar, and your teaching notes into modules, lessons, activities, assessments, discussion prompts, and the order students meet them in.

What You Get: A course map that ties each item to its reading and its outcome, with practice before every graded task.
  • Understand Assignment Patterns

Compare missing work, low scores, rubric wording, assignment instructions, section timing, and discussion activity across the sections you select.

What You Get: Three separate groups: missing work, low scores, and students with no recent post. Each entry names the related assignment or discussion.

Make Course Changes

  • Review a Proposed Course Change

Prepare a change to a page, an assignment, a discussion, quiz instructions, or a date. Your assistant uses Morrow to read the related modules and instructions before anything is saved.

What You Get: The current wording beside the replacement, followed by a read of the saved page.
  • Change Your Mind After a Change Is Saved

Ask to restore earlier wording or a prior date. Your assistant prepares the restoration through Morrow as a new change for you to review. It tells you when a step cannot be reversed.

What You Get: A second proposed change that shows the current course value beside the value you want to restore.

What you bring, and what comes back.

You bring the subject knowledge, materials, and teaching decisions. Morrow connects your assistant to the Canvas or Moodle courses your account can open.

Materials You Already Have

  • Course Materials

A syllabus, reading list, slides, lecture notes, transcripts, past assignments, and rubrics.

  • Your Teaching Decisions

The term calendar, sections, required outcomes, and pacing. Say which weeks are fixed and which can move.

  • The Courses to Use

Choose the Canvas or Moodle courses and sections your signed-in account can open.

What Comes Back

  • A Plan Before Anything Is Created

A week-by-week map of pages, activities, assessments, discussions, and dates.

What You Get: Nothing is saved until you approve it.
  • A Student List With Reasons

Missing work, low scores, and no recent discussion post stay in separate groups, with the section, assignment or discussion, and date behind each result.

What You Get: One next step for each student, in drafts you review first.
  • A Check of Each Change

After an approved change, your assistant checks the page or assignment in the course.

What You Get: If Morrow cannot confirm the change, it stops and tells you. It does not repeat the change.

Plan and create approved course content.

Plan the full course before creating its pages and activities.

  • Start with your syllabus, readings, and interviews.
  • Review the whole plan before creating a page.
  • Check each item after Morrow saves it.

InstructorHere is my syllabus, 28 readings and four guest interviews. I need a 12-week Health Policy course, and I want the rural-access interview to matter rather than just sit there.

Your Assistant Using MorrowFour units across twelve weeks. Week 7 makes the rural-access interview the source students argue against before the Week 10 case analysis, so it carries weight. Every outcome gets practice before the task that grades it. Three readings repeat the Week 2 definitions, so I set them aside.

InstructorWhen do they first have to defend a position rather than describe one?

Your Assistant Using MorrowWeek 8, after two comparison activities. Before that they are building the evidence habit. The full plan is 12 pages, 8 activities, 4 assessments and the discussion prompts, each naming the reading behind it.

InstructorBuild Modules 1 and 2. I want to teach from them before we commit to the rest.

Your Assistant Using MorrowModules 1 and 2 are in the course: every page, discussion, activity, assignment and date, with the module links wired. I checked each item after it saved. Modules 3 and 4 are still only a plan.

Questions Instructors Ask.

How to work across your own sections, set up a weekly check, and decide what to change.

Can I use this across my own sections?

Yes. Choose the Canvas or Moodle courses and sections your signed-in account can open. Start with one, or name the whole set you want checked every week.

Can this happen every week on its own?

The schedule comes from your assistant, not from Morrow. Your assistant uses Morrow to read what your sections hold that morning, then prepares the drafts for you to review. You decide whether anything is sent.

Can I decide what to do after I read the list?

Yes. Use it to decide whether to revise an activity, change your pacing, reach out to a student, plan an update, or leave something alone.

What if I teach the same course in several sections?

Select all the sections at once. Your assistant uses Morrow to read each one, and every proposed change names the section it belongs to. A section that runs on a different calendar stays out of a change unless you include it.

Can my assistant use Morrow to send the messages, or do I send them?

Your assistant prepares the drafts; you send them. Review each draft and any student information before you send it under your institution’s rules.

Your First Request.

Once one course is connected, copy this into your assistant and replace the names in brackets with your own. This request only reads. Nothing in your course changes.

Use Morrow to read all my sections of [course name]. List the students who have not submitted [assignment name], the students with no discussion post in the last seven days, and any quiz question that produced the same wrong-answer pattern. Keep missing work, discussion activity, and low scores apart, and give me the section, item, date and reason behind each one. Just show me this time. Nothing changes in the course yet.
